Another Bulgarian Company Newly Listed On Warsaw Stock Exchange

Date 15/12/2011

  • Eurohold Bulgaria AD, newly listed today on the WSE, is the 39th foreign issuer listed on the WSE Main Market.
  • It is the second Bulgarian company listed on the main market and the third Bulgarian company to go public on the trading floor in Warsaw.

Eurohold Bulgaria is the 15th foreign company newly listed on the WSE this year. It is the second Bulgarian company listed on the main market and the third Bulgarian company to go public on the trading floor in Warsaw. Less than three weeks earlier, the largest Bulgarian pharmaceutical producer Sopharma AD was newly listed on the WSE.

“The year 2011 has broken the record of the number of new foreign listings … I believe that the number of foreign companies listed on our trading floor would have been much bigger had it not been for the difficult market situation. But all this is still ahead. Many companies have postponed their listing until next year,” said Beata Jarosz, WSE Management Board Member, at the listing ceremony.

Eurohold Bulgaria operates in the sector of non-banking financial services, car leasing and sales, and insurance. The Issuer has introduced 108.64 million shares with a total value of over PLN 293 million to trading on the WSE. The company is also listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

Eurohold Bulgaria is the 38th new listing this year and the 427th company listed on the WSE Main Market. Including Eurohold Bulgaria, the WSE’s two stock markets list 46 foreign companies: 39 on the WSE Main Market and 7 on the alternative market NewConnect.
