This modification will be effective on Tuesday March 1, 2005 after trading hours, based on the closing prices of that day, the new divisors will also be announced that same day after trading hours. Attention, on 01/03/2005, a particular trading timetable will take effect that will be communicated at a later date.
During a revision of the BEL20® Index, some important price fluctuations took place in the past. Therefore, the Compiler advises all private and institutional investors to carefully follow their stock portfolio.
It has to be noticed that, if and when confirmed, the merger of KBC and Almanij, at a rate of 1,35 KBC share for 1 Almanij share, will lead to the replacement of the 400 Almanij shares in the basket by 540 additional KBC shares.
Please find attached the new selection list at 31/12/2004. According to the new rules, no share fulfils the minimum criteria to be included in the Bel20 index.
