Andreas Wolf has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Clearstream Banking Frankfurt (CBF) with immediate effect. CBF is Germany’s central securities depository and forms part of Clearstream International, the post-trade services arm of Deutsche Börse Group. CBF settles all exchange traded transactions on German stocks and bonds.
Andreas Wolf (38) joined Clearstream in 2000 after 11 years with Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt. Since then he has held various senior management positions most recently as Head of Customer Service.
Previously he was responsible for the Settlement and Banking Operations area within Clearstream. In 2003 he became a member of the Executive Board.
