Jean-François Théodore, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Euronext N.V. Andre Villeneuve's career at Reuters began in 1967 when he joined the organisation as a journalist and included roles as President of the company's business in North America (1981 to 1990), taking charge of Latin America as well in 1986 and heading Reuters' geographical units (1991 to 1998).
He served as Chairman of the Instinet Group from 1990, and as Executive Chairman, based in New York, from 1999 until his retirement in 2002.
