Date 07/10/2009

The Ministry of Treasury has completed an analysis of initial offers submitted by the Members of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) for the purchase of the shares of the Exchange. The final date for submitting the offers expired on 18 September 2009.

The Ministry of Treasury invited the Members of the Exchange to take part in the privatisation of GPW, since they are directly related to the Company as business partners.

Initial offers were submitted by six Members, i.e. Goldman Sachs International, Pekao S.A., Wood & Company Financial Services a.s., Concorde Ertekpapir Zrt., Merrill Lynch and Banco Espiriti Santo de Investimento. All the offers meet formal requirements.

The Ministry of Treasury decided that all bidders will be authorised to take part in the next stage of the privatisation process, i.e. in a due diligence during which the Warsaw Stock Exchange will be analysed. The deadline for submitting binding offers to the Ministry expires on 28 October 2009.
