The average daily trading volume for the period 26/01 – 30/01 reached JD (5.2) million compared to JD (4.9) million for the last week, a increase of (6.2%). The total trading volume during the week reached JD(26.1) million compared to JD (24.6) million during the last week. Trading a total of (13.5) million shares through (9945) transactions.

Services led the trading with JD(13.07) million or (50.10%) of the total trading volume. The Financial followed with a JD(8.76) million or (33.57%). Finally, the Industrial with a JD(4.26) million representing(16.33%) of the total trading volume.

The shares price index closed at (2615.8) points, compared to (2638.1) points for the last week, a decrease of (0.84%). The Services index decreased by (0.85%), the Financial index decreased by (0.74%), and the Industrial index decreased by (1.27%).

The shares of (132) companies were traded, the shares prices of (37) companies rose, and the shares prices of (56) declined.

The top five gainers during the week were, the Arab Phoenix Holdings by (94.12%), Aldaman For Investments by (24.74%), Specialized Trading & Investment by (6.98%), Specialized Investment Compounds by (6.41%), and Century Investment Group by (5.26%).

The top five losers were, the Al-quds Ready Mix by (12.00%), Zara Investement Holding by (10.00%), Jordanian Realestate Company For Development by (10.00%), Jordan Dairy by (8.94%), and Jordan Masaken For Land & Industrial Development Projects by (8.89%).
