A seven-member steering board of five brokers and two private sector representatives has been appointed to the new Amman bourse. The new board will be responsible for the development of the new private-sector owned bourse, which will take over the market operations of the Amman Financial Market (AFM) until elections for a permanent board at the end of the first quarter of 1999.
