Amex To Trade Options On Three Securities

The American Stock Exchange will launch trading in options on the Nasdaq National Market-listed stocks on Thursday, November 9, 2000:
  • INAMED Corporation (Options Symbol: UZI / Stock Symbol: IMDC)
  • IXYS Corporation (Options Symbol: USX / Stock Symbol: SYXI)
  • SeaChange International, Inc. (Options Symbol: UEG/ Stock Symbol: SEAC)
INAMED Corporation options will open with strike prices of 25 - 30 - 35 and position limits of 22,500 contracts. The options will trade on the January expiration cycle, with initial expirations in December, January, April and July. The specialist will be Letco-Specialist L.P. INAMED Corporation develops a range of medical devices. The Company’s products are used by surgeons and specialist physicians in the areas of aesthetic plastic surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, obesity surgery, endoscopic surgery, and non-surgical weight loss.

IXYS Corporation options will open with strike prices of 22 ½ - 25 - 30 and position limits of 22,500 contracts. The options will trade on the January expiration cycle, with initial expirations in December, January, April and July. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. IXYS Corporation design, develops, and markets power semiconductors.

SeaChange International, Inc. options will open with strike prices of 20 - 22 ½ - 25 and position limits of 22,500 contracts. The options will trade on the January expiration cycle, with initial expirations in December, January, April and July. The specialist will be Eclipse JV. SeaChange International, Inc. develops video server systems and software to manage, store, and distribute digital video for television operators and telecommunications companies.
