AMEX Adds 14 More Securities To Nasdaq Trading Program

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) announces its next group of Nasdaq securities to begin trading on the Amex today, including the following fourteen securities:
  • Abgenix, Inc. (Symbol: ABGX)
  • ADC Telecommunications, Inc. (ADCT)
  • Adrx Group (ADRX)
  • Autodesk, Inc. (ADSK)
  • Conexant Systems, Inc. (CNXT)
  • Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. (DLTR)
  • Electronic Arts, Inc. (ERTS)
  • Genzyme Corporation (GENZ)
  • Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDTI)
  • Marvell Technology Group, Ltd. (MRVL)
  • Palm, Inc. (PALM)
  • Sigma-Aldrich Corporation (SIAL)
  • Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. (TEVA)
  • TMP Worldwide, Inc. (TMPW)
Today's announcement brings the total number of Nasdaq securities trading at the Amex to 100. The Amex began trading Nasdaq securities on August 12, following approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to trade Nasdaq securities under unlisted trading privileges. The Amex will continue to gradually roll out additional securities over the next several weeks. By the end of the roll out for Phase One, 120 of the most actively traded Nasdaq stocks from the Nasdaq-100 Index and S&P 500 Index will trade on the Amex.
