Date 20/11/2002

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today begins trading TIERS Principal-Protected Trust Certificates, which offer the potential to capture gains linked to the composite price performance of the S&P 500 Index. The TIERS will be trading under the ticker symbol SNJ. 19 million shares of the new five-year securities were issued at 100% of the principal amount ($10 each) and will not bear any interest.

At maturity, on November 26, 2007, the trust is scheduled to repay the entire principal amount of the certificates plus an amount based on the return of the S&P 500 Index, subject to a monthly appreciation cap.

The issuer is Structured Products Corp. and the underwriter is Salomon Smith Barney. The Amex specialist unit for the new listing is Wolverine Trading L.P. The TIERS will be quoted and traded as an equity, issued in round lots of 100 shares.
