The American Stock Exchange (Amex) announced today that it has launched trading in the Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF (VYM).

The Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF seeks to track the performance of the FTSE High Dividend Yield Index, a new custom benchmark index consisting of U.S. stocks that have had higher-than-average dividend yields. The stocks are selected from the U.S. component of the FTSE Global Equity Index Series.
