American Stock Exchange Expands Options Program To Include Additional ETFs - Amex to Trade Options On Three iShares Lehman Treasury Bond Funds

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today announced it will launch trading in options on Tuesday, April 29 on the following iShares:
  • iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Fund (Symbol: SHY);
  • iShares Lehman 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Fund (Symbol: IEF);
  • iShares Lehman 20 + Year Treasury Bond Fund (Symbol: TLT)
iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Fund options will open with strike prices in one point intervals from 77 to 87 and position limits of 13,500 contracts. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle, with initial expirations in May, June, September and December. The specialist will be Wolverine Trading L.P. The iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Fund seeks investment results that, before expenses, generally correspond to the price and yield performance of the Lehman 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Index.

iShares Lehman 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Fund options will open with strike prices in one point intervals from 80 to 90 and position limits of 13,500 contracts. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle with initial expirations in May, June, September and December. The specialist will be Bowery Specialist Group, LLC. iShares Lehman 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Fund seeks investment results that, before expenses, generally correspond to the price and yield performance of the Lehman 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Index.

iShares Lehman 20 + Year Treasury Bond Fund options will open with strike prices in one point intervals from 84 to 94 and position limits of 22,500 contracts. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle with initial expirations in May, June, September and December. The specialist will be Tanstaafl Research & Trading, LLC. iShares Lehman 20+ Year Treasury Bond Fund seeks investment results that, before expenses, generally correspond to the price and yield performance of the Lehman 20+ Year Treasury Bond Index.
