American Stock Exchange Appoints Scott Ebner Head Of New Product Development At The ETF Marketplace

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today announced that Scott Ebner has been appointed Head of New Product Development at the ETF Marketplace. In this role, Mr. Ebner will be responsible for bringing new product offerings to the Amex and continuing to expand the Exchange-Traded Fund business at the Exchange.

"This is a well-deserved promotion for Scott, who has been an integral part of the ETF business here at the Amex for nearly eight years," said Cliff Weber, Senior Vice President of the ETF Marketplace. "His extensive knowledge in new product offerings will help the Amex continue its leadership role in the ETF industry for many years to come."

Mr. Ebner joined the Amex in February 1998 as an analyst under Mr. Weber. He worked in various capacities on every ETF listed on the Amex after the launch of the DIAMONDS. Mr. Ebner has been involved in the development, listing, and ongoing support for ETFs and other index-related derivative products and he was also instrumental in the expansion of ETFs into new asset classes, including Fixed-Income and Commodities.
