American Stock Exchange Announces Changes In Morgan Stanley Internet Index And Morgan Stanley High Tech 35 Index

The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) announced today that the Morgan Stanley Internet Index (MOX), and the Morgan Stanley High Technology 35 Index (MSH) will be rebalanced after the close. In conjunction with the rebalancing of the Morgan Stanley Internet Index (MOX), the Exchange will make the following component replacements in the Index, effective after the close of trading on Friday, December 15, 2000: CIENA Corporation (CIEN), EMC Corporation(EMC), and Sycamore Networks, Inc.(SCMR), and i2 Technologies Inc. (ITWO) will be added to the MOX Index; Covad Communications Group Inc. (COVD), priceline.com (PCLN), and Ventro Corporation (VNTR) will be deleted from the MOX Index.

In conjunction with the rebalancing of the Morgan Stanley High Technology 35 Index (MSH), the Exchange will make the following component replacement in the Index, effective after the close of trading on Friday, December 15, 2000: Sycamore Networks, Inc. (SCMR) will replace First Data Corporation (FDC).
