In December last year, NZX opened consultation on changes to its regulatory settings in relation to the requirements placed on Market Participants Accepting Client Assets (Market Participants) under the NZX Participant Rules (Participant Rules) in relation to handling Client Assets. NZX has now obtained all necessary regulatory approvals and wishes to notify the market of changes to the Participant Rules.
The changes also include consequential amendments to the Participant Procedures (Procedures), and Client Assets Guidance Note (Guidance Note).
The updated Participant Rules and Procedures will become effective on Monday 12 October.
