Amendment To The Quarterly Rebalancing For S&P Latin America 40 Index

Standard & Poor's, is revising the previously announced share update, as part of the quarterly rebalancing for two securities in the S&P Latin America 40 Index. As announced all changes will become effective after the close of business Friday, June 16, 2006. For a complete list of all share updates please see the June 14 announcement in our web site.

Please note that there will be no change to the Vale Rio Doce ON shares from its current number.
