Amendment To June Quarterly Rebalancing For S&P Global 1200, S&P Asia 50 And S&P Europe 350 Index

Preceding yesterday’s announcement for the quarterly rebalancing, Standard & Poor’s is issuing the following revisions:
  • The index shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. will remain unchanged at 25,952,195,400, reflecting the 0.5% stock dividend, which was effective Friday June 8th. As announced, the IWF will change from 0.8306 to 1.00.
  • The SEDOL and RIC code for Cathay Financial Holdings were incorrectly quoted in yesterday’s file. The correct SEDOL is 6425663, and the RIC code is 2882.TW.
  • The share number for Fresenius Medical Care AG (Germany, Sedol: 5129074) will be 291,684,000 following the company’s recently announced 3 for 1 stock split, expected to be effective on 18 June.

All changes will become effective after the close of trading on Friday June 15, 2007.
