AmBev - PN ADR Share Increase and IWF change in the S&P Latin American 40 Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Latin America 40 Index effective after the close of trading on Friday, September 10, 2004.

AmBev - PN (Brazil, SEDOL 2634797) ADR shares will increase by 113,981,813 to 335,194,965. The ADR share increase comes as result of the acquisition of Labatt (non-constituent). Simultaneously the IWF will change to 0.66% from 1%.
