Alterco Launches Its IPO On Bulgarian Stock Exchange, Becoming The Second Successful Tech IPO In Less Than A Year

On December 2,  2016  the managers of Alterko JSC and BSE-Sofia officially rung the opening bell for the trading session, thus launching the IPO of the company, listed under ticker A4L.

The number of shares offered publicly is 1.5 million having a par value of BGN 1 each. The total issue size is 15 million shares.

Alterko is a Bulgarian holding company which provides high added-value mobile services in over 15 countries in Europe, Asia and America.

The company employs more than 90 professionals in its offices in Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Hungary, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia and USA.

Alterko plans to invest the funds raised from the IPO to continue developing innovative products and services.

The Alterko initial public offering makes it the second IT company to list on BSE – Sofia in a year, after the successful IPO of the software development company Sirma Group Holding in late November 2015.
