Alitalia Will Replace Banca Antonveneta In The S&P/MIB Index

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/MIB Index, effective at the open of business, Wednesday 5 April 2006:
  • Alitalia, (Italy, ISIN IT0003918577) will replace Banca Antonveneta (Italy, ISIN IT0003270102) in the S&P/MIB Index, following the results of the Public Tender Offer launched on Banca Antonveneta ordinary shares. Acceptances have now exceeded the 91% threshold.
Alitalia number of shares outstanding is 1,386,692,114, the Investable Weight Factor is 0.501 and it will be added to the S&P/MIB GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Airlines sub-industry.
