On 3 November 2008, the WSE Management Board admitted the company Alior Bank S.A. with its seat in Warsaw to operation on the WSE as an Exchange Member. There are now 50 Members operating on the WSE, including 31 members located in Poland.
Alior Bank S.A. is a new Polish lender established by the Italian financial group Carlo Tassara. It is a universal bank servicing all market segments within two business areas: corporate and retail.
Alior Bank S.A. plans to begin trading on the WSE until the end of 2008.
There are currently 50 WSE Members, including 19 Remote Members operating from: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Slovakia and Estonia.
