Algomi CEO Stu Taylor Named To Institutional Investor’s List Of Top Trading Technology Professionals - Judges List Algomi Among The Year’s Most Interesting And Innovative Technology Companie

Date 03/02/2015

Institutional Investor today named Stu Taylor, CEO of Algomi, the network company providing information-matching solutions for the optimisation of fixed income liquidity, to its highly-regarded “Trading Technology 40” industry rankings.

The Trading Technology 40 rankings are independently selected by a group of senior contributing editors. These editors looked at recent career accomplishments and contributions to the industry, the scope and complexity of an executive’s responsibilities, along with input from industry experts. The list has been released annually since 2012.

Taylor ranked 33rd in his debut appearance on the list. In an article that accompanied the publication of the list, Institutional Investor judges cited Taylor’s work in the bond and derivative markets which they note “have long been magnets for trading technology innovators.”

“For the Tech 40 rankings, we analyzed leadership criteria such as career milestones and notable contributions to one’s industry, but most importantly, pure technological innovation,” said Michael Peltz, editor of Institutional Investor Magazine. “We found Stu Taylor and his company technologically interesting and innovative, deserving of a spot on the list.”

Since launching in 2012, Algomi has been recognized with various industry awards and expanded its businesses globally to New York and Asia. The Trading Technology 40 ranking was announced a few weeks after the company won Risk Magazine’s “Trading Technology Product of the Year” award, demonstrating the fixed income industry’s recognition of Algomi’s product value.

“I am honoured to be recognised alongside my distinguished peers in financial technology,” Taylor said. “We started Algomi because we knew that technology could help facilitate the trading of fixed income securities. I’m proud of the efforts we’ve made so far on behalf of our clients around the world and look forward to continuing to improve and innovate in the year ahead.”
