Aeropostale Inc. Added To S&P MidCap 400 Index

Aeropostale Inc. (NYSE:ARO) will replace the MONY Group Inc. (NYSE:MNY) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading Wednesday, July 7, 2004. The MONY Group is being acquired by AXA Financial (NYSE:AXA) in a deal anticipated to close on or about that date. Aeropostale is a mall-based retailer of casual apparel and accessories for teenagers. Headquartered in New York, NY, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Apparel Retail Sub-Industry Index.
