As part of its continuous effort towards the advancement of the world of money and finance in Abu Dhabi, ADX announced its participation at Middle East Securities Forum 2012 that is taking place in the Yas hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Ghannam Al Mazroeui, head of CSD at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, who also was a keynote speaker at the forum, said:” ADX always welcomes the idea of partaking in such events where we gather and confer with our colleagues and counterparts from around the world. We are continuously being reminded that financial markets are now so globalized and greatly intertwined that any failing in one market or within can serve to undermine other markets, like a weak link in a chain.”
Mr. Al Mazrouei added that “collective coordination and unified efforts of the attendees will help create a unified strategy for the Middle East Securities which may protect their markets from economic uncertainty as well as maintain confidence in the securities system in the region.
Partaking in forums and conferences across the region is one of many activities that ADX has carried out as part of continuous strategic plan to advance the financial services that the emirate of Abu Dhabi has to offer investors and promote the Exchange as the market of choice in the region.
