Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) announced today that it will be closing its Marina Mall Branch on 30 June 2009.
“Having two trading halls so close to each other in Abu Dhabi proved operationally inefficient”, said Tom Healy, Chief Executive of ADX.
“Unfortunately there has always been low demand for that particular branch office as Abu Dhabi-based investors preferred coming to our headquarters in Al Ghaith Tower,” he continued.
The ADX Marina Mall branch was opened in November 2006.
