ADX Achieves 99% In Disclosure Compliance Of 2nd Quarter 2017 Financial Statements

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) announced that it has succeeded in achieving a compliance rate of 99% regarding the disclosure of the 2nd quarter financial statements of its listed private and public joint stock companies within the deadline of 45 days from the end of the financial period. 66 private and public listed companies out of 67, local and foreign, disclosed their 2nd Quarter financial statements for 2017 within the 45 days period given.

ADX wishes to acknowledge and thank Union National Bank, United Arab Bank, Sharjah Islamic Bank, National Bank of Fujairah, and Invest Bank for being the first listed companies to promptly disclose their financial results for Q2 2017.

It is worthy to note that the combined net profit of all listed companies as of 14 August 2016 has shown an increase of 10.73% in comparison to the same period in 2017. The highest recorded increase was in the Services sector with an increase of 229.17%, followed by the Energy sector with an increase of 175%
