Adjustment Of OMXH25 Index Due To The Split In YIT-Yhtymä Oyj

The Annual General Meeting of YIT-Yhtymä Oyj decided on March 13, 2006 on a stock split. Each old share will be split into two new shares (2:1).

The split adjustment of OMXH25 index will double the amount of YIT-Yhtymä Oyj (YTY1V, FI0009800643) shares used in index calculation. The new amount of shares is thus 105 800 102. Adjustment will be effective on March 27, 2006 when the first lot-sized (50) trade is made with the YIT’s share. [Index Description of OMXH25 Stock Index]

Split adjustment does not affect OMXH25 index divisor.
