Additional December Option To Be Listed On NYBOTs December Cotton No. 2 Futures Contract

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that effective with the start of trading on Friday June 3, 2005, the Exchange is implementing amendments to its rules creating a second regular option contract month on the December Cotton No. 2SM futures contract. The new option contract month, which will be referred to as the “September” option, will have the December futures contract as its underlying future, and will expire on the 3rd Friday of the prior August calendar month.

On June 3, two new months will be listed for trading: the September 2005 contract, which has the December 2005 as its underlying contract and which expires on August 19, 2005, and the September 2006 contract, which has the December 2006 contract as its underlying and which expires on August 17, 2006.
