ACER publishes today the 26th edition of its REMIT Quarterly. Covering the third quarter of 2021, this edition highlights the third REMIT decision on market manipulation of the National Regulatory Authority for Energy in the United Kingdom (Ofgem), which was published in late August and concerns a case involving the provision of misleading information to the System Operator in the balancing market.
The quarterly also includes an overview of market coverage by inside information platforms in the EU-27, as well as the statistics on RRM contingency reports and REMIT breach cases in the third quarter of 2021. Recent updates of the REMIT documentation are also provided.
Additionally, it also contains an announcement of the upcoming Roundtable meetings on data reporting, set to take place on 16 and 18 November 2021.
