ACER: The Latest REMIT Quarterly Is Online

The EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) has published the 29^th edition of its REMIT Quarterly, covering the second quarter (April-June) of 2022.

What is the REMIT Quarterly?

The REMIT Quarterly is ACER’s main channel of communication with stakeholders on REMIT-related matters, and provides updates on its activities.

The new edition features:

• an analysis of the quality of brokers’ data submitted in 2021,
• a summary of the recent Roundtable meetings with REMIT stakeholders,
• some relevant statistics related to the use of inside information platforms (IIPs) in 2021, and
• a report on a market manipulation case in Germany where a REMIT breach resulted in fines imposed on two market participants.

The Quarterly also provides statistics on registered reporting mechanisms’ (RRM) contingency reports and REMIT cases under review in the second quarter of 2022, as well as an updated overview of the sanction decisions for the past year.
