The EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) will establish an Expert Group on liquefied natural gas (LNG) Price Assessment/Benchmarks.
The new expert group will provide advice and contribute to ACER’s new tasks related to LNG price assessment and/or benchmarks mandated under the proposed new Council regulation. The work of the expert group shall begin following publication of the regulation in the Official Journal of the European Union.
The criteria for the experts are set out in the Open Letter, with the application deadline of 14 December 2022.
