During EU Sustainable Energy Week 2022, ACER will co-host two policy conferences. Both (hybrid) events take place on Tuesday, 27 September:
Session on investments for a more digitalised electricity grid (14:30 - 16:00 CET, 27 September):
ACER, together with EU DSO Entity, ENTSO-E, currENT and T&D Europe, will co-host a session on investments for a more digitalised electricity grids.
Achieving the goals of the EC’s EU Green Deal and RePowerEU will rely heavily on innovative solutions to be used and provided by network operators, manufacturers, providers and utilities, and any innovative solution is increasingly digital.
The session will discuss the concrete steps needed to provide clear investment signals that foster innovation and digitalisation of the electricity system.

Session on energy transition, digitalisation and cybersecurity (16:30 - 18:00 CET, 27 September):
ACER, together with ENISA, ENTSO-E and EU-DSO Entity, will co-host a session on energy transition, digitalisation and cybersecurity.
The session will focus on how best to work together across borders to ensure the physical and digital infrastructure needed for the energy transition is efficient, reliable and cyber-secure. Cyber experts will discuss with industry and citizens how to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the energy sector whilst meeting the twin goals of green and digital.
