Following the consultation launched on 31 January 2019 by the Austrian National Regulatory Authority (E-Control) for the implementation of the Network Code on Harmonised Transmission Tariff Structure for Gas, the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) communicates that it will not issue a report with its analysis, as was the case for other national consultations.
As clarified by E-Control, the consultation will not be followed by a motivated decision. Therefore, the consultation carried out by the Austrian National Regulatory Authority cannot be considered as final. E-Control will clarify this shortly on its website.
The Agency will analyse the final consultation once it is launched. According to the information provided by E-Control, the final consultation will be carried out between October and December 2019.
The Agency notes that Austria will miss the deadline of 31 May 2019, set in the Network Code, for completing the consultation process on the reference price methodology.
