Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) received a financial delegation from the Korea Center for International Finance (KCIF). The visit aims to discuss means of developing relations of co-operation and partnership as well as increasing the exchange of expertise in the fields of mutual interest.
Mr. Rashed Al Baloushi, CEO of ADX said of the visit:” It would constitute a solid foundation through the exchange of information and experiences between the two sides in areas relating to financial research and financial services, which is necessary and important to further boost relations between the two nations.”
The CEO of ADX stated that he highly values the joint meetings ADX has with Korean delegations , describing the development of mechanism for holding such gatherings as a spotlight in co-operation between Abu Dhabi and South Korea. Al Baloushi also said he believed that co-operation between both parties would be expanded, contributing to the relations between the two countries and their respective communities.
During the visit, ADX officials delivered a presentation highlighting ADX’s mission, vision, and goals in relation to ADX endeavor of becoming the market of choice in the region .
It is worthy to note that Korea Center for International Studies visit to Abu Dhabi is the center’s first visit to the Middle East. Choosing the emirate of Abu Dhabi as the center’s primary destination signifies high confidence in the economy of the emirate.
