On Wednesday, September 12th, 2007, a block of 20 percent of the shares of “Iran National Copper Industrial Co.” – the TSE’s largest listed company – equal to 1.1 billion shares has been transacted completely in the Tehran Stock Exchange Co. (TSE) in less than 7 minutes.
Share price was 8,774 IRR which amounted to around USD1.1 billion value for this block transaction only, which hits a new record for daily transaction in the Tehran Stock Exchange’s 40 years of activity.
