A New Warsaw Stock Exchange Information Vendor

The WSE has signed an information vendor agreement with the Slovak company FIO. Now FIO will both intermediate in WSE transactions (as an Exchange Member) and provide exchange quotations in real time to individual investors in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.

FIO is the second (after PATRIA, a KBC Group broker) WSE information vendor in a CEE country. The agreement with FIO is a part of the WSE strategy of building a regional centre, attracting new CEE issuers and investors.

With the signing of the FIO agreement, the number of WSE information vendors has gone up to 46, including 21 foreign companies (UK, USA, Switzerland, France, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Slovakia).

Information vendor agreements are signed by the WSE mainly with information agencies and brokerage houses, as well as internet portals and software vendors wishing to add WSE quotations to their services.
