Game Theory Society, established in 1999, holds its 4th World Congress (GAMES 2012) at Santral İstanbul on July 22-26. Held on a quadrennial basis, the event is organized with İMKB’s platinum sponsorship under the auspices of İstanbul Bilgi University.
The Congress will be opened by world-known mathematician John NASH, and is expected to attract some 1,000 foreign and 100 Turkish scientists. The Congress is open to the public and will host nearly 650 presentations and numerous panels such as “Nobel Panel”.
A separate conference will be held at İMKB Conference Hall between 14:30-16:30 on Wednesday, July 25. The conference will be opened by İMKB Chairman & CEO Mr. İbrahim M. TURHAN, and the speakers will be Eric MASKIN of Harvard University and Roger MYERSON of Chicago University, 2007 Nobel Laureates in Economics, as well as Prof. Bernhard Von STENGEL of the London School of Economics. The speakers will talk about the relations between game theory and İMKB’s fields of operation.
