263 Million Euro Turnover At NEWEX In July

At NEWEX (New Europe Exchange), the exchange for Central and East European securities, volume of 263.16 million euros was traded in July. Volume of 106.33 million euros or 40.4 percent of the total, was traded in the NX.plus quality segment. The most active single issue was the common share of the Russian oil producer LUKOil, with over 1.27 million shares traded, corresponding to 65.55 million euros in value.

The order-book statistics, which are based on single counting of all transactions in the order book of Xetra and broker-supported trading on the floor, show that a total volume of 64.77 million euros was traded in July. The statistics only comprise orders that have gone through the order-book and where an official price or quote was set.
