Trading in Danish shares has never been greater. In 2005, records were broken on the equity, bond and derivatives markets, and trading in both listed and non-listed investment certificates was also the best on record. In 2005, the value of share trading was DKK 937.2 billion - 58 percent more than in 2004. The value of average daily share trading amounted to DKK 3.7 billion. The number of trades in 2005 also saw an increase of 58 percent on 2004 and almost reached 4 million corresponding to an average of 15,720 trades per trading day. All main indexes gained in value over the period.
