2 New Listings Joined NYSE Group In The Week Ended December 1, 2006 - 17th Transfer In 2006 Bringing The Total Market Cap Of All Transfers To $41.9 Billion Year-To-Date - The Largest Close-End Fund Offering In The History Of US Equities Market

In the week ended Dec. 1, 2006 , two new listings joined the roster of NYSE-listed companies.

On Nov. 28, Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Diversified Equity Income Fund began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol ETY.  Headquartered in Boston , Massachusetts , the company raised $2.6 billion in its initial public offering, making it the largest close-end fund offering in the history of U.S. Equities Market.

Safeco Corporations   , an insurance product provider, is the seventeenth transfer from other U.S Markets and the ninth transfer from Nasdaq to NYSE Group, year to date.    Headquartered in Seattle , Washington , the company began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol SAF on Nov. 30.
