188 Mio. Euros Turnover At NEWEX In August

At NEWEX (New Europe Exchange), the exchange for Central and East European securities, volume of 187.75 million euros was traded in August. Volume of 63.76 million euros or 33.96 percent of the total, was traded in the NX.plus quality segment. The most active single issue was the common share of the Russian oil producer LUKOil, with over 777 thousand shares traded, corresponding to 37.08 million euros in value.

The order-book statistics, which are based on single counting of all transactions in the order book of Xetra and broker-supported trading on the floor, show that a total volume of 56.15 million euros was traded in August. The statistics only comprise orders that have gone through the order-book and where an official price or quote was set.
