London Stock Exchange today welcomes the second cohort of companies to ELITE, its innovative support programme for high growth private companies. The 16 CEOs opened trading on London’s markets this morning to celebrate joining the programme. The companies come from across the UK, representing a range of sectors and include a video game producer, a fast growing pub chain, an eco-leather manufacturer and online retailers. About the companies ELITE is for a select group that are revenue generating and rapidly growing. The second cohort of companies includes retail, industrial, technology and media businesses. Of the 16 companies joining today, 14 are from outside London, including two from Belfast. As the initiative continues to develop, multiple cohorts are expected to join every year.
