155 Mio. Euros Turnover At NEWEX In October

At NEWEX (New Europe Exchange), the exchange for Central and East European securities, volume of 155.7 million euros was traded in October, about 34.6 percent lower than the previous month´s level (September: 238.1 million euros). Volume of 73.2 million euros or 47 percent of the total, was traded in the NX.plus quality segment. The most active single issue was the common share of the Russian oil producer LUKOIL, with over a million shares traded, corresponding to 44.6 million euros in value.

The order-book statistics, which are based on single counting of all transactions in the order book of Xetra and broker-supported trading on the floor, show that a total volume of 36.5 million euros was traded in October, about 46.6 percent lower than the previous month´s level (September: 68.3 million euros). The statistics only comprise orders that have gone through the order-book and where an official price or quote was set.
