150 ELITE Companies: New Companies, Internationalization And First Operations On Capital Markets

Borsa Italiana today unveiled the new companies joining ELITE. The companies come from across numerous sectors and across the country but sharing the same ambition and orientation to grow.

ELITE aims to guide senior management on how best to adapt and shape their businesses for further long-term growth and how to increase their visibility and attractiveness to potential investors.

Two years after its launch, ELITE continues to create value for companies, giving them access to a diverse support network. The programme has been exported to London, where London Stock Exchange recently held a successful launch event. Italian ELITE companies will be part of an international network, allowing them access to British investors and companies.

150 compaies are now enrolled in ELITE, with an average turnover of €105 million and a growth rate at the time of admission of 15%.

The company admitted are heterogeneous in terms of sectors because they operate in different fields from software and computer services, engineering to fashion and food industries.

ELITE has already achieved significant results. Among the companies attending the programme 15 are considering an IPO in the next few years; 8 are talking to private equity firms;  3 have issued minibonds on ExtraMOT PRO and 8 more are exploring this possibility; 25 launched M&A projects and joint ventures; SACE has €30 million invested in 18 ELITE companies and SIMEST has €20 million invested in 9 companies.
