Near Real-Time Statistics to be Included on the Nasdaq-Amex Newsroom

The Nasdaq-Amex Market GroupSM today announced that statistics measuring the performance of The Nasdaq Stock Market® and the American Stock Exchange® will be added to the award-winning Nasdaq-Amex NewsroomSM Web site (www.nasdaq-amexnews.com). This groundbreaking new feature, which will include near real-time data, will appear on the site beginning today. Most of the data on the Web page will be automatically updated every ten minutes throughout the trading day. Official day-end statistics will be available on the site by 5:30 p.m., Eastern Time. As always, historical statistics, news releases, key reports and background information are available on the Nasdaq-Amex Newsroom. The new Web page can be accessed by clicking on "Indexes and Statistics" on the left side of the Newsroom's home page, then clicking on the link labeled "Daily Statistics." No registration or fee is required.
