ICE Announces Introduction Of Cleared Iron Ore Swap
IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global regulated futures exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, today announced the introduction of an ICE OTC cleared iron ore contract based on the well-regarded Platts Iron Ore Index. The ICE Platts Iron Ore Swap 62% Fe (metallic iron) contract will be available for clearing on ICE Clear U.S. beginning December 2, 2009.

Asia-Pacific New Market Forum Held In Shenzhen
The “Sixth Asia-Pacific New Market Forum” hosted by SZSE was held in Shenzhen on November 18, 2009. 10 exchanges in Asia-Pacific regions and relevant institutions coming from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan attended the forum. Chen Dongzheng, council chairman of the SZSE and Zhu Congjiu, CSRC chairman assistant delivered the important speech. Song Liping, general manager of the SZSE, presided the meeting.

SEC Names Senior Officials To Investor Education And Advocacy Efforts
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the appointments of three senior officials to its Office of Investor Education and Advocacy (OIEA) to help continue its increased focus on individual investors. OIEA serves the Commission as the "investors' office" and provides educational resources to help individual investors make informed financial decisions.
