U.S. Treasury: Two Financial Institutions Repurchase TARP Warrants, Deliver $83.5 Million In Proceeds For Taxpayers
The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced today that the following two financial institutions repurchased warrant positions Treasury received in consideration for investments made under the Troubled Asset Relief Program’s (TARP) Capital Purchase Program (CPP), delivering a total of $83.5 million in proceeds for taxpayers.

NYSE Euronext Announces Date For First-Quarter 2011 Earnings Release And Conference Call

At the end of the settlement date of February 28, 2011, short interest in 2,352 NASDAQ Global MarketSM securities totaled 6,155,776,412 shares compared with 6,215,782,911 shares in 2,359 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of February 15, 2011. The end-of-February short interest represents 3.02 days average daily NASDAQ Global Marketshare volume for the reporting period, compared with 2.99 days for the prior reporting period.

CFTC Charges Jacob Juma Omukwe And His Companies With Solicitation Fraud And Misappropriation In $3 Million Foreign Currency Scheme -Federal Court Issues Emergency Order Freezing Defendants’ Assets And Preserving Books And Records
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced the filing of a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin charging defendants Jacob Juma Omukwe, JadeFX Ltd. (JadeFX) and Jade Investments Group, LLC (Jade), all of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., with operating a fraudulent off-exchange retail foreign currency (forex) scheme through the website www.jadefx.com. None of the defendants has ever been registered with the CFTC.
