(Nasdaq:NDAQ), the list of securities being added to the NASDAQ OMX China Technology Index (Nasdaq:CHXN9000) was incorrect. There are six securities being added to the list: Byd Electronic International Co. Ltd. (285 HK), TravelSky Technology Ltd. (696 HK), TPV Technology Ltd. (903 HK), Ju Teng International Holdings Ltd. (3336 HK), and Pactera Technology International (Nasdaq:PACT) and YY Inc. (Nasdaq:YY). The corrected release follows:
The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the annual evaluation of the NASDAQ OMX China Technology Index (Nasdaq:CHXN9000), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, March 18, 2013.
The following six securities will be added to the index: Byd Electronic International Co. Ltd. (285 HK), TravelSky Technology Ltd. (696 HK), TPV Technology Ltd. (903 HK), Ju Teng International Holdings Ltd. (3336 HK), and Pactera Technology International (Nasdaq:PACT) and YY Inc. (Nasdaq:YY).
The index is designed to track the performance of the technology companies that are domiciled in China or Hong Kong. The NASDAQ OMX China Technology Index is reviewed on an annual basis.
