Tradeware Global Connects To Banca IMI’s Market Hub - Facilitates Access To Financial Markets And Seamless MiFID Compliance

Date 16/12/2008

Tradeware Global Corp., the leading broker-neutral solution provider for electronic access to global equity markets, today announced that Tradeware is now connected to the Market Hub platform of Banca IMI via both its FIXLink® and GlobalX™ networks. Banca IMI, the investment bank of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, is one of the executing brokers on Tradeware's GlobalX network.

Through the Market Hub platform, Tradeware’s clients have access to an innovative technology that provides integrated and MiFID-compliant access to financial markets. The Market Hub platform dynamically applies MiFID best-execution rules to each order and allows for access to more than 70 leading financial markets (stock, bonds, and derivatives) with the guarantee of high service levels. More than 270 customers (in Italy and abroad) are already linked to its services, which include complete information support for the client’s trading.

Tradeware’s FIXLink network is a neutral connectivity grid cross-connecting with 30 other networks and pre-certified with 33 third-party OMS/EMS providers. One of the largest FIX networks, it is a robust and flexible plug-and-play connectivity solution for broker-dealers and institutional investors. GlobalX is a unique cross-border trading solution that enables brokers to trade globally on a pure agency basis, which minimizes counterparty risk and decreases failure rates. With full settlement support in place, it facilitates an efficient global order flow.

Said Cody Callihan, Executive Vice President of Tradeware: “Market Hub’s multi-product and multi-market portal is proving to be a great solution for our US broker-dealer clients trading Italy as well as other European markets. Our connectivity to Market Hub provides our clients with an access to real liquidity while maintaining MiFID compliance for their institutional customers.”
