Spectrum Markets, the pan-European trading venue for securitised derivatives, has entered into a partnership with French economist and book author Marc Touati.
Marc Touati is recognised for his expert commentary and insights into economic and financial themes across Europe. Through this partnership, as a capital markets expert speaking for Spectrum Markets, he will contribute towards growing the company’s profile in various economic and financial forums.
Marc founded and leads the French economic advisory company Aux Commandes De l’Economie et de la Finance (ACDEFI). Prior to founding ACDEFI, Marc was chief economist of the former Group Natexis Banques Populaires for twelve years.
Nicky Maan, CEO of Spectrum Markets, said: “This partnership is extremely valuable to Spectrum Markets. Marc has a tremendous amount of market expertise as well as an extensive track record in the European financial industry. Being able to leverage his knowledge will be a great benefit to us.”
Marc Touati added: “As an advocate of on-venue trading, I have been watching Spectrum Markets’ progress since its launch a year ago. It is impressive to see how they have integrated innovative features, such as 24/5 on exchange trading, alongside regulatory compliance, without compromising the customer experience. I look forward to supporting Spectrum Markets in its journey as a future leader of retail trading.”
Spectrum Markets is a pan-European marketplace where retail investors can invest in structured products via their brokers. Since its launch, trading has been available in ten countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Ireland, Finland, and Belgium.
